Our Story

The idea of Lug Buddy originated about a year ago, when my close friend was having the most difficult time trying to clean his vehicle's rims, especially his lug nuts. After multiple failed attempts at jamming a microfiber towel into the lug holes with his fingers, he knew there had to be an easier, faster and better way. Unfortunately, there were no commercially available products that were cost effective, had a reusable design, and guaranteed scratch resistance. Fast forward a few months and a 3D printed prototype was born! After hundreds of design iterations and prototypes, we then moved on to testing. We conducted a variety of tests, dozens of times, including drop, durability, chemical resistance, ease of use, and ergonomics. When our testing led to a high quality product that we wouldn't hesitate to use ourselves, we wanted to share it with our friends, family, and community!
