The newest BMW 5 series has just hit the shores of the USA. The 530i and 540i models should be going up for dealers to start selling soon! The newest 5 series sedan will feature the new iDrive 5.0 system along with a digital display of the driver's instrument panel instead of the traditional analog style found in the last generation 5 series. The M550i will take a while longer before it will be available for sale, towards the end of March from what I can tell. More news will be announced later. 

At the SV Auto Show, Fiat, Chevy, Ford and Toyota offered free test drives. They had a great deal of vehicles there but unfortunately none of their top of the line models were available for test drives. Nonetheless, I had the opportunity to get behind the wheel of the Fiat 124 Spider, Chevy Bolt EV and the Chevy Camaro SS. 

BMW brought along a couple of its newest vehicles to the Silicon Valley Auto Show. The headliners were definitely the M760i and the M240i. 

This past weekend I went to go check out the SV Auto Show held at the San Jose Convention Center. Many brands such as BMW, Audi, Ford, Chevy, Toyota among others came to display their lastest and greatest vehicles on sale in the market today/near future. I would like to say that there were over 100 vehicles there that day, with about half of them which you could actually open the doors to and sit inside. They also had a few brands that allowed you to test drive some of their vehicles, namely Fiat, Chevy, Ford and Toyota.
