BMW Ultimate Driving Experience Hot Lap!

This is the timed hot lap that I did at the BMW Ultimate Driving Event in SF (Cow Palace to be exact). I was driving a 540 xDrive so check out how I did! Find out how I lost gold and took home second place. I will be posting a full event overview later!

There were two cars that we could drive that day, the 540i and the 540 xDrive. We were randomly selected for the final hot lap. I would've preferred the rwd car but not my choice. In this lap, I lost because at the end, if you notice, I didn't get on the gas. I let it ride out, because I thought the course was over! The instructor said that the course ended at the last yellow cone and not the pits but I thought I was at the pits so I let off the gas. By the time I noticed it was too late. I only lost by 0.12 seconds or something. I mean not bad for a first timer in autocross! It was by far one of the most exciting events I've been to!
