There was a new event in the bay called Exotics by the Bay hosted by Carbonite Detailing. It took place at their Burligame facility. It was a kick off event so I'm not sure if it will be back later on. The entry fee was $5 for both participants and spectators with the fee being donated to an epilepsy foundation. All makes and models were allowed for the event with many high end exotics attending. There were also a few sponsors there displaying their products and works. It was nice meeting everyone! Before you go see the rest of the pics down below, please let me say what one should not do at a car meet. As I was leaving I pull into a street with two lanes, with one lane each going in opposite directions. I accelerate up to the speed limit and then out of nowhere a Mustang GT flies past me using the opposing lane of traffic as his means to pass me. He flies going clearly way faster than the posted limit. I don't condone this type of behavior and do not show off like this for people to take pics of or video of. I don't think that owner would like to be on YouTube or a local news station when it crashes or loses control.
I mean sure my BMW M3 is definitely not as fancy as some of the supercars there but I definitely did not see any need to rev or do a burnout or accelerate obscenely fast. It's just not safe and no need to prove to anyone what one's car can and cannot do. But on a brighter note, please check out some amazing cars at the meet!
