The newest generation 911 Carrera was released a few months back. This was not my first opportunity to see one in person but it was my first time sitting in one and getting a closer look at the vehicle. Check out more pics and info down below. The new Carrera models have a redesigned front end. I personally don't like the new look and thought the 991.1 generation Carrera's looked nicer. The direction of the back vents have also changed from horizontal to vertical. The engine has been tuned fore more horsepower to 420HP and 368lb-ft of torque. The 0-60 sprint takes 3.7s according to Porsche but their numbers have always been quite conservative. Some major magazines have gotten it closer to 3s which is absolutely insane. Porsche has really stepped up its game. The 4S models now have the option for 4 wheel steering allowing the car to maneuver better at lower speeds and gain stability at higher speeds.
