I joined the 100 OCT drive over to Monterey Car Week and it was definitely one of the most fun events I've been to! We met up at Los Gatos Luxury Cars and rallied over to Monterey for lunch. Afterwards, we got an exclusive private showing at the Rolls Royce Estate. We had so many unique and amazing cars including the Porsche 918 Spyder with Weissach Package, Ferrari 288 GTO and 911R! I couldn't have asked for a better event with some of the most rare cars ever! The rally over was a nice little ride through the back roads. It wasn't foggy or wet outside so the roads were perfect for a day trip. I followed behind the 911R and that thing threw up so many rocks at my car ... thank god for BMW paint being super durable. No chips on the windshield so that was a relief as well. The 911R sounded so great. I noticed that it handled the corners superbly but on the straightaways it wasn't the fastest. The car was entirely stripped out with no AC, radio or navigation. It's a pure enthusiast vehicle. We also got an exclusive sneak peak at the newest Black Badge Rolls Royce vehicles. The host was nice enough to spend an hour and half speaking to me one on one about all the cars! So grateful! I got to sit in all the cars and play around with all the different features. It was my first time in a Rolls and the build quality is superb. I still prefer my BMW M car leather but that's just me. The Bentley leather is more smooth in the sense that it feels more processed. It's got a colder feel to it. But check out the Dawn, Wraith, and Phantom and of course the Phantom Extended Wheelbase! Here is the Phantom. This is the extended wheelbase Phantom And finally here are the Black Badge Wraith and Dawn. The best for last! The 288 GTO!!!
